Quick Weight Loss Tip: Eat Your Food Slower
Some people may think that eating their food slower will have no affect on their weight loss, but I can truly say that it helped me to lose my weight. When you eat your food slower, it gives your body more time to tell you that it’s full. We do not feel the actual effects of being full until approximately 10 minutes after our stomach is full. If you are eating slower, you have less of a chance of over-stuffing your stomach and realizing you are full before you eat your whole plate of food.
Also. eating your food slower allows you the chance to actually enjoy the food. Instead of just munching it down, you can sit and enjoy the taste of the food. When you eat your food too fast, you really don’t get to savor the flavor which is why you may think that you are not satisfied after you eat.
So next time you eat a meal or even just a snack, remember to slow down and enjoy it!
