Stay Away From The Kitchen
I discovered that it’s not always easy avoiding temptations when you are trying to lose weight. But, one thing that helped me out tremendously was staying away from the kitchen when I was bored or when I knew that I was not hungry. I did not use the kitchen table to pay bills or to read at. I didn’t use the phone in the kitchen when I was talking on the phone. The more I could avoid the kitchen. the less temptation that I had.
This is just one trick that helped me avoid mindless eating and eating because I was bored. If I didn’t see the food in the kitchen, it was just so much easier to not eat it.
If you are having trouble with eating when you are bored and nibbling snacks here and there, try this weight loss tip. You may be surprised at how many extra calories you are consuming from just being around or in the kitchen frequently. For one week, try to avoid the kitchen at all costs when you know that you are not hungry. Talk on the phone in the living room or bedroom. Pay your bills at a desk somewhere else or even just on the floor in the family room. Don’t read the newspaper while sipping coffee at the kitchen table. Try to do this for the one week and notice if your weight loss has increased any. Good luck!
